GoalMe is a fantasy sports application that aims to provide sports fans with an interactive way of enjoying their favorite sports through their phones. The client needed a cross-platform app that allowed users to form fantasy teams, participate in live matches, monitor the performance of players, compete with other users, and get rewards.
The app supports several types of sports like cricket, football, and basketball, among others. The app uses sports data APIs to fetch the scores, match updates, and players’ stats in real time.
Our Mobile App Development team’s main aim when developing this app was to come up with a platform that had sports data in real time, private leagues, leaderboards, notifications, and rewards features. Cloud infrastructure was used to boost the performance of the app during busy sporting seasons.

1. Integration of Live Sports Data
Fantasy sports require access to precise and up-to-date sports data. Thus, integration with various APIs was necessary to get live scores, player stats, and match data so that the user could track the match.

Sports data APIs were integrated in order to access live scores, match information, and player statistics. This feature allows users to track live matches and analyze player performance during participation in fantasy games.
Support Multiple Sports and Team Creation
Users can browse available sports and create their own fantasy teams with chosen players. There are additional options for creating private leagues and holding player drafts/auctions.
Boosting User Competitiveness with Leaderboards and Rewards
A leaderboard can be used to make it possible for users to know how well they have done compared to other participants. The features of rewards and coupons by administrators will ensure that the promotions can be run, as well as provide extra motivation for those who are qualified.
Creating a Scalable Cloud Backend
To allow the application to run, we relied on AWS cloud technology for backend services. This is because the application would experience high traffic fluctuations during big sports events.

Allowing Access and Payment Support
In order to protect the user accounts, authentication as well as some security features were included. Additionally, payment services can be used if there are any applicable entry fees, subscriptions, or awards depending on the model.
