We created a Liquor Delivery App for a USA-based event management firm, which required an improved system for managing their liquor orders at weddings, private parties, and corporate events. The client used different suppliers to manage liquor, which was causing problems such as delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and extra paperwork.
This app integrates liquor ordering, supplier management, inventory management, and delivery tracking processes in one place. Customers will be able to search through the products available, place their orders, plan their delivery dates, and get updates, whereas suppliers and event managers can easily organize the supply process.
Some additional features implemented by us are age/ID verification, AI-based delivery routing, payment processing, and dashboards for analytics. Different accounts for administrators, suppliers, delivery drivers, and event managers are also included to streamline all processes.

Business Challenges
1. Manually Managing Supplier Coordination
The customer had more than one supplier of liquor for the events. It was hard to manage orders in terms of quantity, availability, schedules, and changes made to these orders due to the calls and messages that were required.
2. Discrepancies with Inventories and Availability of Stock
Since each of the suppliers kept their inventory records separately, it became harder to be sure whether certain products would be available before making bulk orders.
3. Age Verification and Compliance with the Law
The alcohol delivery process involves many legal aspects such as the age of buying alcohol, licensing, locations where it can be delivered, and many other things. There is a need to have a system for verification processes.
4. Late Deliveries during Peak Events
There are occasions when a wedding or any other kind of event requires delivery at a certain time. Manually organizing deliveries became very hard in such cases.
5. Securing Payments in Bulk Purchases
Large purchases can result in transactions with substantial amounts of money. The client required security for their payment transactions and reliable transaction data in order to make it easier and safer to pay for things without any mistakes or suspicious transactions.
6. Limited Visibility of Operations
In the absence of a dashboard, keeping track of orders, suppliers’ performance, deliveries, and inventory became quite hard.
Our Solutions
We developed a centralized liquor delivery and management application designed around the client’s event-based ordering process. Our team used its experience in mobile application development to build a convenient platform combining mobile ordering, supplier inventory, delivery coordination, and administrative controls.
Efficient Ordering of Liquors
A user-friendly interface has been designed for customers, where they can browse different types of liquors and wines available, add products to their cart, and make order requests for those events where orders can be placed.
Age and Identification Verification
We have developed age and identification verification processes for placing orders of alcoholic products and their delivery process. The document scanning feature using OCR technology and facial verification can be used for verifying identities, wherever it is legally allowed. The verification process should abide by the privacy rules, local alcohol laws, and the provider’s policy.
Inventory Management in Real-Time
This application will sync the inventory information of those suppliers who have subscribed to this system. It will help the workers to know about product availability and coordinate stock in an efficient manner.
Ordering and Events Scheduling
Workflows have been developed to handle orders for several events at once. The administrators and event managers will be able to manage order details and the delivery process.
AI-Assisted Delivery Route Planning
Delivery Route Planning has been included as an ability that allows delivery crews to plan routes considering the destination points, time schedule, and routing information. It prevents excessive travelling and makes it easier to deliver products in event seasons.
Online Payments
The system includes payment processing to accept payments using eligible methods. The payment settings can be set according to regional and other payment provider requirements.
Role-Based Access Control
Access permissions have been created separately for each role, such as administrator, supplier, delivery agent, and event crew. Users can access the abilities that are necessary for their work.
Notifications and Analytics
Order notifications keep relevant users updated regarding confirmation and delivery status. Analytics allow business management to evaluate operational activities, performance of inventory and orders.
Scalable Mobile Architecture
Using Flutter for cross-platform development and Node.js with Express.js for backend services, we built a flexible application architecture. This approach optimizes overall application development costs while providing high performance across iOS and Android. MongoDB supports application data, while AWS provides cloud hosting capabilities for future growth.
